Getting to Estepona is very easy. Obviously, the journey to Estepona begins from the Málaga Picasso International Airport. From there, travelers can take the long distance bus or a taxi. Alternatively, the more adventurous travelers can hire a car to drive themselves to their destinations.
To get to Estepona by bus, travelers must locate the bus station at the Málaga airport. The station is outside and to the right of the arrivals exit. There is a bus leaving directly for Estepona starting from 7:00 to 23:00, every half hour. Approximate fare is 5 to 6 Euros.
To get to Estepona by taxi, travelers must simply locate the taxi queue outside the arrivals hall. Approximate fare is 60 Euro, going direct to Estepona. However, travelers are advised to set the final fare with the taxi driver before boarding the taxi.
By hired car, there are a number of car rental companies that have booths at the Málaga airport. It is best to inquire about the latest rates at the airport.
